Where It All Began

Childhood sweethearts Paula and Mark met up 22 years after leaving secondary school. They began their married life with 5 children between them and went on to have a further 3 children: Jessica, Jaden and Lacey together.

Having already raised 8 children, Paula and Mark felt that they wanted to help disadvantaged children as the next chapter in their family story. In 2013 they both embarked on the year-long foster carer training journey and they found themselves fostering babies with complex backgrounds, and met Tony.

After a year of fostering, Tony completed their whole family who became so attached to him they couldn’t let him go.

Juggling their careers in sales and finance with their growing family, Paula and Mark fostered Tony when he was just six weeks old and adopted him in 2016 when he was just 17 months old.

The family remains the driving force for Paula and Mark with a growing family of 9 children and 6 grandchildren.
